About
A diligent language expert.
In 2016, my career began as the in-house English translator for a German software company, where I localised the software interface, training documentation, newsletters and blogs for the international market. Since then, I have been a trusted language expert for a range of businesses in the automotive, logistics, retail and industrial engineering sectors.
I am a qualified and recognised professional, as a member of the Bundesverband für Dolmetschen und Übersetzen (BDÜ, Germany) and the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL, UK). I have passed the Diploma in Translation exam and have a Master of Arts in Linguistics from Freie Universität Berlin.

Sometimes, machine translation is good enough for your requirements. But if you need the highest level of accuracy, deal with complexity, or have a carefully crafted brand voice, you need a human to ensure quality. I can also check machine translations for accuracy and consistency, or take on the whole project from scratch.
What languages do you work with?
I work into English only, because it is my native language. I have C1/C2-level German (highly advanced), which I have acquired by living in Berlin since 2013 and completing a German-language master's degree program.
